Enrichment
What is enrichment?
The purpose of enrichment classes is to offer your child experiences beyond the typical preschool day. We bring in a variety of programming, including soccer, art, gardening, science, yoga, cooking etc. If you want your child to experience this type of programming, this may be a convenient choice for you as it is offered during the school day.
Enrichment classes are offered to the 3s and 4s classes at JPS between 1:15-2:00pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays in three semesters: fall, winter, and spring. The classes are provided at an additional cost to families and are not included in tuition.
A staff member will escort the children to and from the enrichment classroom. If your child is enrolled beyond 1pm, they will be transferred from the classroom to the enrichment and returned afterwards. These children miss their nap time, so if your child is still consistently napping, they may not yet be ready for enrichment. If your child is enrolled until 1pm, you may pick up at 2pm on days your child is enrolled in enrichment classes.

Mad Science: Tuesdays (13 classes)
Mad Science – Mad Science is both educational and fun. Each of our hands-on classes are themed around a particular area of science and include an assortment of science experiments and activities that will challenge each student and allow them to channel their inner scientist!

Soccer Shots: Wednesdays (12 classes)
Soccer Shots – Each week, coaches introduce and build on a new soccer skill through creative, themed activities while reinforcing character traits that align with the session and the sport of soccer, such as courage, patience, and sharing.

Noah’s Art: Thursdays (12 classes)
Noah’s Art – Noah’s art focuses on a process-oriented art experience. To aide in the development of each individual child’s talents and abilities, our instructors lead students through the process of creating art, at the same time, we give instruction in the use of art supplies, tools and methods. Children in our classes learn to have confidence in their own creativity.
